FLO To Set Up Rural Skilling Centre With TG Govt’s Support

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad chapter of FLO (FICCI Ladies Organisation), on Thursday announced its plan to set up a Rural Skill Centre, under Private-Public Partnership (PPP) with the Government of Tel-angana. Under this initiative, FLO aims to skill up to 2,000 women and students.
Prathibha Kunda, the great granddaughter of Amarajeevi Poti Sriramulu, the freedom fighter known for his pivotal role in the creation of Andhra State, made this announcement after taking over the mantle as FLO Chairperson from Priya Gazdar. Kunda is the Managing Director of Surendrapuri, a mythological theme park. She is also the founder of Siara Retreat and Pradhan Conventions. Pallavi Jain, the Director at Pokarna Fabrics, succeeds Ridhi Jain as the Chairperson of YFLO.
Unveiling the activities for her tenure, Kunda said, “Our intention this year is to ‘Build for Everyone, be inspired by Everyone and Reach Everyone. I draw inspiration for my programme from PanchaTatva, the five essential elements that sustain life. At FLO, empowerment is not just a vision; it is a commitment to action.”
